ATHLETIC will appear in their second successive Reserve Cup final when they travel to Livingston on Tuesday evening.

The team, led by Gary Montignani, will travel to the Tony Macaroni Arena for the match, which kicks off at 7pm.

Dunfermline, under the guidance of former academy head, Greg Shields, reached last season's final, where their young side lost 7-0 to an highly experienced Kilmarnock at Rugby Park (pictured below).

This season, after progressing as winners of their section during the group phase, with two wins from three matches, the Pars defeated Hamilton Academical in the last four, with Paul Allan, Owen Moffat and Michael O'Halloran on target in a 3-1 victory.

Dunfermline Press:

The Livi Lions were 5-2 winners over Ayr United in the other semi-final clash, with their ground chosen to host the final following an agreement between both clubs.

Admission to the game will cost £6 for adults and £3 for over-65s, under-18s and students, whilst under-12s go free with a full paying adult.
