FIFE Council have given the go-ahead to demolish a Dalgety Bay building that has lain derelict for a decade.
The building, owned by BAE Systems, at Hillend Industrial Park will be demolished to ground floor level leaving the existing foundations.
The steel-framed brick structure covers approximately 1100 square metres and was built in the 1960s as a canteen and social club but was later used as a training facility.
But the building has been unused for the last 10 years and is now derelict.
