POLICE are appealing for witnesses following another spate of break-ins and thefts in the Dunfermline area.
The first took place between the evening of Sunday, March 13 and Monday, March 14 when someone broke into a shed and a portacabin in the Dunduff area.
A number of items were stolen, including a quantity of fishing equipment and two grass strimmers.
During the same time, an attempted break-in took place at a business premises in the Craigluscar area.
Between Wednesday, March 9 and Monday, March 14, a quantity of metal roof panels was stolen from a building site in the Craigluscar Reservoir area.
Detective Sergeant Kelly McEwan of Dunfermline CID said: “We’re urging anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area around the time of these incidents to come forward.
“Anyone with information about the whereabouts of these stolen items is also asked to get in touch.”
