HOLLYWOOD star Hilary Duff was left stunned by Dunfermline's beauty after a visit to the historical town on Friday.
Social media went into a frenzy after the Lizzy McGuire star posted a photo of Dunfermline Abbey on her Instagram and Twitter accounts with the caption “pictures don’t quite do this justice”.
Duff, 30, is believed to be filming scenes for the American version of 'Who do you think you are?' - a documentary which traces a celebrity's family history.
Fans were quick to tell her to go for a steak bridie and Pars invited the star to East End Park to see the match against Dundee United.
Even Dunfermline MP Douglas Chapman replied with a tweet to the star with another photo of Dunfermline.

Emma.M asked the actress if she was going to go to Life club and native Rachel Brown said: "I'm from the city where you are. Enjoy its beautiful. I live in the US now and miss it dearly ❤❤"
Duff began her acting career at a young age, and quickly became labelled a teen idol as the title character of the Disney Channel comedy series Lizzie McGuire.
Numerous movie projects and music albums followed, and she has even produced a New York Times best seller novel.
