A CAR that was described as being 'completely engulfed in flames' by an eyewitness is causing delays for motorists on the M90.
Other drivers reported seeing the blaze on the hard shoulder at around 3.45pm this afternoon, which led to closures northbound between Junction 3 and Junction 4 at around 4pm.
Smoke was blowing across the carriageway as emergency crews attended the scene.
The M90 northbound has since re-opened between J3 and J4, but vehicle recovery is yet to take place and traffic is still described as "very busy" by Traffic Scotland.
