THE body of a man has been found near the spot there missing Rosyth man Reece Rodger was last seen.
Police Scotland have issued a statement this afternoon saying that while the deceased person is yet to be identified, Reece's family have been informed.
Reece was reported missing on Sunday, March 19 when he disappeared while camping in the Kinloch Rannoch area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 10.45 am on Saturday, 27 May 2023, the body of a man was discovered on the north shore of Loch Rannoch.
"Although the deceased has yet to be formally identified, the family of Fife man Reece Rodger (28), who was last seen on the north shore of Loch Rannoch on Saturday, 18 March 2023, has been made aware.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
Around 10.45 am on Sat 27 May the body of a man was found on the north shore of Loch Rannoch.
