A man was assaulted after violence broke out in Dalgety Bay.
The assailant was 20-year-old Luke Baxter, who has appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Baxter, of Moray Park, Dalgety Bay, was found guilty after a trial.
He was convicted of an offence that on March 28 at Moray Park, he brandished a bike chain at a man, acted in an aggressive manner, repeatedly punched him on the head and body and repeatedly spat on his car.
He was also unlawfully in possession of an offensive weapon, the bike chain, in a public place.
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a structured deferred sentence which will run until May 29.
She told Baxter: “This will let you get help with issues such as anger management and let you mature a bit.”
