THE Broomhead Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) organised a community litter pick last weekend.
Nine residents and three volunteers, including volunteers from the Fife Street Champions and Safer Communities Fife teams, collected rubbish from all three blocks and car parks.
In total, the group collected 22 bags full of litter.
A spokesperson for the Broomhead TRA said: "During COVID, the Broomhead TRA was shut down, like many other community groups.
"Sadly after lockdown, our community flat had a burst pipe leak and we were closed down even longer.
"So, as we have now restarted the community tenants association and want to highlight the great community spirit which exists within the Broomhead flats, we organised a community litter pick to simply tidy up our little corner of our beautiful city.
"We are planning further future events including, hopefully, a summer barbecue event for all our residents."
