DUNFERMLINE will face Premiership outfit Ross County in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup after the draw was made this afternoon (Tuesday).
Allan Johnston's team, who made it into the hat after beating League One rivals Ayr United on Saturday, will face former boss Jim McIntyre's side on January 9/10 at East End Park.
The Pars, who disposed of top flight Dundee in this season's League Cup, will face the Dingwall club for the first time in the cup since a 4-0 home win in the third round of 1997.
McIntyre was Dunfermline manager from 2007-2012 and led the club to the First Division title in 2011.
Since leaving East End, he has gone on to manage Queen of the South and the Staggies, who he has led to sixth in the Premiership and the League Cup semi-finals this season.
