WEST FIFE football star Caroline Weir will play for one of the game's biggest names after signing for Liverpool.
The Dunfermline born midfielder, 20, put pen to paper for the FA Women's Super League 1 side after leaving Bristol Academy and was confirmed as a Reds player yesterday.

Weir, an established Scotland international, started her career with Hibernian before joining Arsenal Ladies in 2013.
She won the Women's FA Cup the following year with the Gunners as they defeated Liverpool's Mersey rivals Everton before she joined Bristol in July.
Speaking to Liverpool's website, Weir said: "Liverpool Ladies are a really ambitious club and I am confident that we can win more trophies over the next few seasons.
"It is a great move for me. There are so many talented players here and I am really looking forward to playing alongside them in order to develop my game."

Weir has scored five goals in 23 games for the national team, and is in
Anna Signeul's squad for next Tuesday's friendly with Sweden in Gothenburg.
