DUNFERMLINE have announced that former Dundee United youth player Euan Spark has joined the club on a one-year contract.
The 19-year-old defender has been recruited by Allan Johnston following his release from Tannadice, and becomes the Pars' fifth summer signing.
Dundee born Spark joined United at the age of nine and progressed through the Arabs' academy, signing a professional contract in July 2012.
He made his competitive debut - one of three appearances for United - as a substitute against St Mirren in 2014 and joined Athletic's League One rivals Forfar on loan in February.
He played 14 times for the Loons, including at East End Park in April, in their unsuccessful battle against relegation.
Spark featured in three games as a trialist, including in Tuesday's 1-0 win at Clyde, and follows Nat Wedderburn, Lee Ashcroft, Gavin Reilly and Paul McMullan in joining the club.
