NAT Wedderburn joins Lee Ashcroft in extending his Pars stay after signing a new one-year deal.
The powerful presence in the middle of the park is another piece in the puzzle as boss Allan Johnston continues to strengthen his side ahead of the new campaign.
Wedderburn was Johnston's first signing last summer after being recruited on a pre-contract from Inverness Caley Thistle in May.
He has racked up 30 appearances in all competitions this year ahead of the club's final game tomorrow against Queen of the South in Dumfries.
The club confirmed yesterday Ashcroft had also agreed a one-year contract extension.
He will remain at East End Park for the next two years after arriving from Kilmarnock.
