DUNFERMLINE have further strengthened their squad by completing two new signings this afternoon.
Former Morton striker Declan McManus joins on a one-year deal after leaving relegated Fife rivals Raith Rovers, and has been followed by ex-Kilmarnock midfielder Aaron Splaine.
The double capture is a timely boost for manager Allan Johnston, who returned with his squad for the start of pre-season training today.
McManus, 22, started his career with Aberdeen - making his debut for the Dons in a 3-0 loss at East End in 2012 - before enjoying productive loan spells with Greenock Morton.

He moved to Fleetwood Town in 2015 before returning to Cappielow on loan in season 2015/16 ahead of a disappointing spell with Rovers.
Splaine started his career at Queen of the South, where he worked with Johnston, before following his manager to Kilmarnock.

He left Rugby Park in May 2016 and, after trials with Leeds United and Burnley earlier this year, opted to sign for the Pars.
We will have in-depth interviews with both players in next week's Press Sport.
