THREE Pitreavie teams picked up medals in the Scottish Athletics Relay Championships on Sunday.

The Pitreavie senior men's team of Craig Robertson, Graeme Gibson and Michael Burns took bronze in the 3x800s, finishing third in a time of 5:54.37.

It was a closely-contested race with the top three of Inverclyde, Aberdeen and Pitreavie all crossing the line within one second of each other.

Going one better, the Pitreavie under-13 boys' 3x800m team of Euan Johnston, Lewis Dow and Lewis Blair struck silver in their race, clocking 7:29.84.

The under-15 girls' team of Lucy McRoberts, Eve Huxley, Aimee Scott and Bethany McAndrew, picked up bronze medals in the 4x100m, finishing third in 52.44, less than one tenth of a second behind runners-up Livingston & District.

Dunfermline Track & Field were also amongst the medals, with the club's under-13 girls' 4x100m team picking up silver medals with an impressive time of 56.16.
