Thomas Courts' side became the first Fife club to win the Super League title after nearest challengers Bo'ness United were beaten at Kelty's arch-rivals Hill of Beath Hawthorn.
After their 3-0 win over Camelon at Central Park on Saturday, Hearts only needed a point at Lochee United this weekend to clinch the championship had results not gone in their favour.
But Bo'ness' failure to win means that, despite having played a game less, they are now unable to catch Courts' men and that paved the way for the popping of champagne corks in Kelty.
Messages of congratulations began to pour in to the club on social media, who themselves posted on Twitter, "There's a party just started in the social club.
"Massive well done to Thomas Courts and all the lads. CHAMPIONS."
Kelty's title triumph comes just 12 months after they avoided relegation by defeating Premier Division side Dalkeith in a two-legged play-off.
We will have full reaction to Kelty's title win in next Thursday's Dunfermline Press.
