DUNFERMLINE have completed the signing of former Celtic winger Paul George until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old, who played as a trialist in Saturday's 3-1 Fife Cup win at Cowdenbeath, impressed boss John Potter during the tie and has now put pen to paper on a short-term deal.
The Northern Irishman joined Celtic in 2008 and made his senior team debut for the Hoops in a League Cup tie with Ross County in 2011 but his progress was curtailed by a broken leg suffered in an under-19 match with Rangers a year later.
He made three appearances on loan at Hamilton last season and joins the Pars as a free agent.
George, who will be available for Saturday's match with Stenhousemuir, represented his country at under-16 and under-17 level before switching his allegience to the Republic of Ireland, for whom he he has made three appearances at both under-17 and under-19 level.
