THE FIFE COUNCIL (A909) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2015
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of the A909 from B925 (Beverkae Roundabout) to B9157 (Bernard's Smithy).

The Order is to allow tree felling to be carried out in safety and will be operational between 09.30 and 15.30 on 04/11/15 and overnight between 20.00 and 6.00 on 05/11/15 and 06/11/15. The alternative route for through traffic will be via the B925, B981, A921 and B9157. The alternative route for high sided vehicles will be via the B925, B981, A921 and the A909. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained. Access for residents will be maintained to either side of the works via the alternative route.
