THE FIFE COUNCIL (B981 NORTH ROAD/CHAPEL PLACE, INVERKEITHING) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2016
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of:- (i) B981 North Road from A921 to the Bois Bridge access. (Alternative route - A921, A985, B980, A823, Carnegie Ave, Lapwing Dr, B916 and B981; and (ii) B981 Chapel Place from A921 to a point adjacent to house no. 40. (Alternative route - Boreland Rd, Hillend Rd and A921) The Order is to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out in safety and will be operational overnight between 22.00 and 06.00 from 21/02/16 to 01/03/16 or until earlier completion of the works. The works will be carried out in two phases with only one section of the road being closed at any one time. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be maintained.
