THE FIFE COUNCIL (MAIN STREET, TOWNHILL) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2016
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of Main Street from Robert Wilson Grove to Forest Rd and prohibiting the waiting of vehicles on Forest Rd (north side) from Main St to Forest Pl; Forest Pl (east side) from Forest Rd to Muir Rd; and Muir Rd (south side) from Forest Pl to Main St.

The Order is to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 10/10/16 to 21/10/16 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via Townhill Rd, Arthur St, A823, B915 and C53 Caincubie Rd. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained. Access for residents will be maintained from 17.00 to 07.30 each night.
