DOWNIE.- The family of the late Joan Downie would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy following the passing of their mother, Joan Downie. We would also like to thank the Reverend Norman Grant for his kind and caring services during this difficult time. Thanks also to all who paid their respects at Cairneyhill Parish Church and Douglas Bank Cemetery and to John Stoddart and Sons for the funeral arrangements. Lastly thanks to everybody who donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, a total of £270 was raised.
