TORRIE John (Edinburgh) Passed away peacefully at Strachan House, Edinburgh on Monday, May 2, 2022, John, beloved husband and travelling companion of Marjorie Young, dear dad of Robin and Sarah, dear grandad of Ewan, Sylvie and Tilly, brother of Olive Smyth. John was Senior Partner of Torrie & Co Stockbrokers, he was an Old Master of The Royal Company of Edinburgh Merchants and associated with the Dunfermline United Burns Club for 47 years. A funeral service will be held at Warriston Crematorium, Lorimer Chapel, Edinburgh on Monday, May 23 at 2pm to which family and friends are invited. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, may be made to the RNIB.
