CAMPBELL James Peacefully on Thursday 3rd November 2022 at Queen Margaret Hospital, James, aged 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Mabel, dearly loved dad to Alan, Norma and the late Ian, sadly missed father-in-law and a devoted grandad and great-grandad to all his grandchildren. Funeral service takes place on Thursday 17th November 2022 at Dunfermline Crematorium at 11.30am to which all who knew James are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please, however, donations, if so desired, can be made on leaving the service, in aid of Cancer Research.

So sorry to hear of Jimmy Campbell's passing. I am his nephew Wesley, son of his youngest brother Thomas. I have only just found out about this. For many years, I never met him but then on one of my later visits, I had the great pleasure to meet him and his wife Mabel. What a delight and I am so glad I was able to finally meet a great man who reminded me of my own dad. Last of his generation, rest in peace.
