Sign in to add a tributeTom was a regular attendee at his local community pub, The Olive Tree & Restaurant, where he had a wonderful loving group of friends who ensured he was taken well care of in his neighburhood. and leeting his family know if there were any concerns the neede to be informed about. My personal experince knowing Tam for many years, I felt a natural kindship with him due to his outgoing personality, his passion for service with the local city Masonic Lodge. Tom had a great sense of humour and enjoyed sharing with his sharp wit with his buddies at the pub. I was blessed to be able to ride home with with him on Monday evenings in Ferdous' car (taxi) to ensure his arrival home was a safe and sound one . I always enjoyed the wee ride in the car because Tam sesne of humour was always guaranteed one. He would well prepare us for every inch of his street where he knew exactly ALL the located pot holes and his concern for his friends small black car did not sustain any damage. One had to be rather cretive and to expect a slight diversion on the very narrow street of Tams'of course, the driver upon reaaching the stretch to his home had to take a slight diversion around the corner, buckled up tight with the seatblelt and to take a rise up upon the pavement, since there was a long single row of cars parked and very narrow road to nagate, along a sparsley lit road , times we would miss his house due to fact that winters in the northern hemiphere are extremeley dark. All the time, Tom would be pulling a few jokes and giving us heads up after he had been dropped off home where the next pot holes were located before arriving to the main throughfare road on Saint Leanards Street. Personaly, I loved the opportunity to sit by Tam at the pub for a few minutes here and there and have a chit chat with him getting to know him personally, he loved to blow me a kiss or two and we would always give one another a wave of acknowelegment and enjoyed from time to time the t.v show, The Chaser. Tom will always remain a very special person in my heart, his inspiring upbeat personalty, he would enjoy sharing happy tune or two at the Olive Tree. I was so blessed to be able to celebrate Toms' 80th Birthday party with his friends at the local pub, where he and I had a photograph taken together.
Tom Yeoman will always be remembered by me as very loving altrustic soul spreading joy and infectous laughter where ever he went. I personaly wish to Thank you Tom, for your beautiful family and all for his wonderful supportive local community friends in the Kingdom of Fife.
I wish to send my heartfelt condolences to everyone who knew Tom, as I know he will be very soreley missed with his sudden passing on the 25th of March, 2023. May everyone find peace and solice in his love he so graciously shared with us on his earthly souljourn.
