THE daughter of the pervert bus driver jailed for seven-and-a-half years for abusing two young girls has spoken out against the father she says is "out of my life for good".
Distraught Donna Miller (27, pictured) said her dad, Gordon Grieve should have been jailed for "at least 10" years after carrying out the sickening abuse, which dates back to 2001.
And she told of her horror upon reading the Press' coverage of last week's court case, in which a jury at Edinburgh's High Court found Grieve, of 11 McClelland Crescent, Dunfermline, guilty of lying naked on top of the youngsters, aged just four and five, who also had no clothes on.
Ms Miller spoke out against her dad this week saying, "I had to let everybody know what he's like." Close to tears, she added, "I was absolutely sick.
"When I heard the sentence I thought it was pathetic.
"I think he should have got more - at least 10.
"The defence, QC (Mhairi) Richards, said he (Grieve) still claimed the offences never happened.
"How can he say that when a jury has found him guilty?
"It makes me angry he's denying it all." Ms Miller, who now stays in Edinburgh with her fiancè, left the family home aged 19 to escape her father, whose previous behaviour she claims has torn the family apart.
She has barely spoken to her father now for seven years.
She said, "To be honest, I wish I wasn't his daughter, but at the end of the day I have to be.
"But he is out of my life for good.
"How would I describe him? He put one act on in the house and another one on outside. "His friends would probably say he was a nice guy and everything but they don't really know what he was like.
"He could be aggressive and didn't seem to have any hobbies.
"He has always been a bus driver, apart from having a few spells on the dole." She also said that some of the family "are still sticking by him".
"Any of them who are against him I would be willing to have in my life because at the end of the day I know what he's like," she finished.
At the High Court Grieve was also found guilty of making the older girl perform oral sex. Allegations of rape were dropped during the trial.
After the verdicts it was revealed that he had a record for sex offences committed while he was still a teenager and had also spent seven years in the the state hospital, Carstairs.
He will continue to be kept under supervision for a further five years once he completes his sentence.
