The body was found in the Pitreavie area around 12.50pm this afternoon (Monday 3rd August).

While the identity is yet to be established, Stuart’s family have been informed and police said their thoughts are with them at this time.

The circumstances surrounding the death are non-suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

An appeal was launched to find Stuart after he was last seen at around 6pm on Thursday 30th July, leaving his home in Izatt Avenue. It's understood that he walked in the direction of Alice Cox Walk and Queensferry Road and had not been seen since.
