THE A92 has re-opened in both directions after the crash that saw two lorries burst into flames.
The accident happened around 9.35am on the westbound carriageway, near the B9149 turn-off to Lochgelly.
Fire crews put out the blaze around 11.30am but the A92 was shut in both directions.
A man was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment and Police Scotland said both carriageways were now open.
A statement said: "However, the accident area remains closed and motorists are being diverted via the Lochgelly off-slip before re-entering the A92 at the Lochgelly on-slip.
"We thank everyone for their patience and cooperation."
