Closure of level crossing at Halbeath this weekend
THE LEVEL crossing at Halbeath will be closed this weekend to allow for Network Rail works.
The stretch of Kingseat Road, from Halbeath Business Park to Hillview Court, where it meets the Fife Circle railway line, will be shut from 11.45am on Saturday to 7.45am on Sunday.
A Fife Council traffic order will be in place and the diversion for traffic will be via Halbeath Road, Whitefield Road and the B912.
Access for emergency services, residents and pedestrians will be maintained.
Network Rail told the Press that routine maintenance and inspection works would be carried out at the crossing and rail services would not be affected.
