WORK is progressing on the development of a derelict site in Dunfermline.
Three four-bedroomed homes and one five-bedroomed house are being built at 37 Townhill Road, at the corner of Methven Drive, where Hillpark House used to stand.
Dating from Victorian times, it was demolished in 2015 and the land was purchased by Premier Homes Scotland, a small firm run by husband and wife Steve and Carol Williams.
Three of the detached properties have already been sold with the development due to be completed by July next year.
"Strong interest has resulted in only one four-bed property left for sale," said Carol. "The first two homes are well on their way to completion and Premier Homes Scotland have registered them respectively as Hillpark East and Hillpark West to commemorate the historical neighbourhood identity of the site.
"Plots three and four will start in January with a completion date of July at the latest. It is going really, really well and the houses are really lovely.
"My husband and I are both still working so we are just doing it as a small development. We are building them as if we are moving into them and really enjoying it and the three buyers are delighted they have secured a plot."
