VANDALS will be caught on camera if they try to ruin a community project in Inverkeithing again.
At the end of last month, the Press reported that the Tiny Den in the woods was destroyed by mindless vandals.
Hours of dedication from volunteers was left either damaged or beyond repair in April after previous vandalism took place in March.
Yobs wrecked the two Tiny sheds and the bus shelter and bus stop spaces.
One of the sheds was pushed down a hill, leaving it ruined.
The incident sparked anger in the community, with more volunteers stepping forward to help tidy up and "rebuild everything" in the space of just two days.
A donation of cameras means that any vandalism or damage will now be captured and those responsible will hopefully be identified.
In a recent update on Facebook, the team behind the project posted their thanks to those who helped bring the den back to its former glory.
"Unfortunately, the vandalism up at Tiny Den has not stopped, and the 'denizens' have been working hard to try and repair damage and prevent further trouble," the group said.
"Still, that's no reason to be upset as the showing of community spirit last weekend was incredible to see and we were able to rebuild everything in two days with the support of all the lovely helpers that came up and lent us a hand.
"Show them all the love possible for their effort and selflessness!"
The team at Brainyaxe escape room and axe-throwing in Inverkeithing have supported the project by supplying them with wildlife cameras so they can "secure the den space even further".
The group added: "We can't thank our community enough for all of the support that our project has received.
"We're trying not to let all of the destruction get to us and we're trying to pull up our bootstraps and keep pushing forward.
"Hope to see you all adventuring up den very soon!"
Kieran Hall devoted both time and effort into creating the space in September with his friends, Holly Welsh and James Brown, and other members of the community, including a retired gentleman called Rab, who had put his talents to good use at the site.
Holly and Kieran were sent pictures of the latest damage the morning after it took place and they were left "angry and upset" by what they discovered.
Kieran told the Press previously: "I was questioning why anyone would go out of their way to do this. They would have had to put some effort into destroying everything. They must have been doing all the damage through the night.
"We've been trying to wrap our heads around it in the past few days."
