TWO men and a woman are facing a trial accused of attacks on a man in Dunfermline.

It is alleged that a man was the victim of two assaults and was knocked unconscious suffering severe injury.

The three accused are Brian Kumar, 30, a prisoner at Perth; Jennifer MacGregor, 29, of Kirktoun Park, Ballingry; and Dale Wilson, 30, of Blake Street, Dunfermline.

A first diet hearing was held at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

MacGregor and Wilson face a charge that on December 22, 2019, at Fodbank View, Dunfermline, whilst acting with another person, they assaulted a man by seizing his clothes, pushed him on the body, causing him to fall to the ground and kicked him repeatedly on the head and body to his injury.

It is alleged that on the same day, in Law Road, Dunfermline, Kumar assaulted the same man by punching him on the head, causing him to fall to the ground, and thereafter punched him on the head, rendering him unconscious to his severe injury.

All three deny the offences and a trial date is still to be set. A further first diet will take place on August 31.
