CLUB president Anthony Felton was on hand to open Dunfermline Art Club’s 2021 annual exhibition recently.
The showcase features more than 80 paintings, many displayed for the first time, by club members.
The exhibition is being held in the club’s gallery in Dunfermline's Kingsgate Shopping Centre, with the gallery open every day from 10am until 5pm until Saturday, when opening hours revert to Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Last year, the event was 'virtual', in a Facebook group due to pandemic restrictions. Since lockdown, members have been unable to meet in the studio in Townhill Community Centre, although socially-distanced sketching meetings have been possible recently.
The club was founded in 1883 and welcomes anyone aged 18 and over with an interest in art. It's hoped that a relaxation of distancing limitations will allow the resumption of painting in the studio soon.
