EMERGENCY service crews were called to one of the Kingdom's major routes following a car fire.
The drama took place at around 8.15pm last night (Thursday) on the A92 near Lochgelly.
The vehicle involved was on the slip road at the junction with the B9149 westbound, heading towards Dunfermline, when the incident took place.
Fire and police teams raced to the scene and the blaze was extinguished, with no injuries reported.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received report of a car on fire on the A92 westbound slip road at the junction with the B9149 near Lochgelly around 8.15pm on Thursday, 16 September, 2021.
“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fore and Rescue Service and the vehicle was recovered.”
