A DUNFERMLINE woman punched a police officer repeatedly during a disturbance.
Victoria McGrath then hit her head off railings and tied a string around her neck.
McGrath, 41, of Pinkerton Grove, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on August 4, at Broomhead Drive, Dunfermline, she assaulted a police sergeant by punching him repeatedly on the body.
She also acted aggressively, struck her head off railings, wrapped string around her neck and tightened it and struggled with police officers.
Defence solicitor Jaclyn Robertson said alcohol had been a problem for her client for decades.
Sheriff James Macdonald called for reports and McGrath will be sentenced on February 9.
