Within the last few minutes, the rail operator - which moved back into public ownership on April 1 - have posted on social media to say that routes from Edinburgh across the Forth will be impacted by an an issue at Haymarket depot.
They said: "Due to an issue near Haymarket Depot that is preventing trains from departing the depot, services between Edinburgh/Glenrothes, Edinburgh/Kirkcaldy, Edinburgh/Tweedbank will be cancelled, delayed, or revised."
