STARS from Kelty Hearts have dominated the nominees for end of season awards voted for by their peers.
Votes by players across the SPFL have been cast in the PFA (Professional Footballers’ Association) Scotland awards, comprising the Team of the Year across all four divisions, and those shortlisted for their divisional Player of the Year.
The annual awards ceremony will take place in Glasgow on Sunday and three of Kelty’s players are in the running to be named the league’s top player.

Captain Michael Tidser, midfielder Jamie Barjonas and winger Joe Cardle have made the final shortlist alongside Annan Athletic’s Owen Moxon. Former Morton and Rotherham United midfielder Tidser, who scored the winning goal in last season’s Pyramid play-off final second leg win over Brechin City, has made 43 appearances in all competitions this season for Kevin Thomson’s side.
Barjonas, 23, moved to New Central Park last summer after leaving Rangers and has gone on to become one of Kelty’s key men, scoring nine goals in 40 games, while former Pars star Cardle, 35, has enjoyed the most productive season in front of goal in his career, hitting the net 16 times in 45 matches.

The winner of the award will be announced at the gala awards dinner but the Team of the Year in each division has been announced already, with Kelty having no fewer than six players included.
Both Barjonas and Cardle have been selected, and they have been joined by goalkeeper Darren Jamieson, who has kept 17 League Two clean sheets; centre backs Tam O’Ware and Jordon Forster, who have played their part in helping Kelty have the division’s most miserly defence, which has conceded just 27 goals in 35 games; and Nathan Austin, their top scorer with 21 goals this season, 17 of which have been in the league.
The full team is:
Darren Jamieson (Kelty Hearts), Ross Meechan (Forfar Athletic), Tam O’Ware (Kelty Hearts), Jordon Forster (Kelty Hearts), Andy Munro (Forfar Athletic), Jamie Barjonas (Kelty Hearts), Owen Moxon (Annan Athletic), Joe Cardle (Kelty Hearts), Tam Orr (Stenhousemuir), Nathan Austin (Kelty Hearts), Kane Hester (Elgin City).

Meanwhile, former Kelty loanee, Connor Barron, has been nominated for the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who was present at the club's player of the year awards on Saturday evening to collect his League Two winners' medal, made 14 appearances for the club during the first half of the campaign.
Since returning to parent club, Aberdeen, he has played 11 times for the Reds, and picked up his first Scotland under-21 caps in March, against Turkey and Kazakhstan.
He has been shortlisted alongside Pittodrie team-mate, Calvin Ramsay; Hibernian full-back, Josh Doig; and Celtic star Liel Abada.
Another ex-Kelty man, Dylan Easton, is one of four nominees up for the League One player of the year prize.
The 28-year-old, who helped the club out of the Lowland League during two years at New Central Park, joined Airdrieonians last summer, and has impressed for the Diamonds in their march to the Championship play-offs.
Easton, who coaches at former team-mate Joe Cardle's football academy in Dunfermline, is up against title-winning Cove Rangers trio Harry Milne, Mitch Megginson and Rory McAllister for the award.
He has also been named in the League One team of the year, which also features former Dunfermline captain, and Airdrie team-mate, Callum Fordyce.
The North Lanarkshire club take on Montrose in their Championship semi-final and, if successful, will face either the Pars or Ayr United, or Queen's Park, for a place in next season's second tier.
