A 48-YEAR-OLD man sexually assaulted a woman in Oakley.
Scott Dingwall, 48, from Oakley, and currently a prisoner at Edinburgh, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that he sexually assaulted a woman at an address in Oakley in August 2020.
Depute fiscal Laura McManus said Dingwall and the victim had been drinking alcohol together before the offence.
An argument had broken out in the early hours of the morning and Dingwall had sexually assaulted her.
There had been no consent given and the woman had screamed out during the assault, added the depute.
Dingwall had later written a letter to the woman about the incident and this was seized by police when the matter was reported to them.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for reports and Dingwall was remanded in custody until sentencing on August 15. He was also placed on the sex offenders’ register.
