A CRACKDOWN on illegal number plates saw five cars stopped in Fife on Friday – including one in Inverkeithing where a car had no front registration plate.
Taking to Twitter, Road Police Scotland warned drivers to ensure their vehicles met the requirements.
"Please check your number plates are legal or #FifeRP will stop you. 5 cars were stopped yesterday, all had mis-spaced characters & 3 had no British Standard or Supplier marks.
"4 drivers issued conditional offers for £100 & 1 reported."
Police stopped the vehicle in Inverkeithing after being called to reports of anti-social drivers.
They added: "The driver of this car thought his pride & looked better without a front number plate......we didn't!
"Issued a ticket for £100 & told to get it back on....it was in the boot!
"#GonnaeNoDaeThat. #Looking4More."
