IT WOULDN’T be hard to guess the route of the royal visit in advance.
All one needs to do is follow the army of Fife Council workers and subcontractors who, for a week now, have been painting and repairing any defects to roads, pavements, street furniture and railings along the route to the Town House.
This is galling for residents who I know have tried without success for as long as five years to have dangerous defects/trip hazards sorted in the historic quarter where our new king will walk.
It’s easy to see who the council considers important and it certainly ain’t us, the people!
I’d write more but my pen is out of ink, my inkwell is at the other end of the desk, and the chap who refills it is tending to his other duties.
