A CAR and a bus collided in Halbeath last night (Thursday).
The two vehicles crashed on Pittsburgh Road, resulting in significant damage to the front of the Stagecoach bus.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach East Scotland said: "We can confirm that a minor incident occurred involving one of our vehicles yesterday evening, where a car made contact with a bus near a bus stop.
"This resulted in the bus being withdrawn from service. Safety is our number one priority, and we will be assisting the investigation into this incident."
Photographs taken of the crash show that a silver car collided with the front of the bus with the majority of the damage concentrated on the driver's side of the bus.
It has not been confirmed if anyone was injured in the collision though ambulance services were reportedly in attendance.
