TWO separate road traffic collisions have caused major delays for West Fifers on the Queensferry Crossing this morning (Wednesday).
The crashes took place on the bridge and caused tailbacks as far back as Halbeath and significant delays for motorists travelling southbound on their morning commute.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 6.50am on Wednesday, 9 November, police received a report of two separate three car road crashes on the Queensferry crossing. Officers attended and the drivers had exchanged details. No further police involvement."
Traffic is now beginning to ease, though drivers were facing 55 minute delays earlier in the day. Traffic Scotland shared their latest update on Twitter, they wrote: "#M90 Southbound is still slow following three collisions earlier this morning.
"Traffic is easing slightly Southbound - Travel time 20 minutes."
