WORLD Day of Prayer services will take place in Dunfermline and Rosyth tomorrow (Friday) and on Saturday.
It's a global ecumenical movement led by Christian people who welcome you to join in prayer and action for peace and justice.
The theme is 'I have heard about your faith' and there will be services held at 2pm in Viewfield Baptist Church, East Port, Dunfermline and at Rosyth Methodist Church, Queensferry Road.
And there will be a children's service on Saturday in St Leonard's Church, at Brucefield Avenue in Dunfermline, at 2pm with arts and crafts.
This year’s service has been written by women of Taiwan, who remind us of the urgency to protect the environment and to be aware of the gender stereotypes that women and girls around the world still face today, and to contemplate issues of suffering and injustice which are experienced by them.
The World Day of Prayer, which involves people from 170 countries across the globe, is one of the few occasions in the churches year when all Christian denominations come together.
