A DUNFERMLINE pantomime performer has been shortlisted for The Great British Pantomime Awards 2023.
Kevin McLeod, who played the Professor in The Alhambra Theatre's production of Beauty and the Beast last year, has been nominated in the Best Supporting Artist category.
A spokesperson for the Alhambra said: "It is fantastic achievement to receive national recognition for the production, which is produced entirely in house by the Alhambra Theatre Trust.
"Our nomination sees us alongside some of the biggest theatres and venues in the UK such as the London Palladium.
"The Alhambra Theatre Trust are incredibly proud and would like to say a huge well done to Kevin on his well deserved nomination."
During the 2022/23 pantomime season, the UK pantomime Association’s 64 judges attended over 240 venues to see over 700 performances, far and wide across the United Kingdom.
The Alhambra panto itself was attended and enjoyed by over 25,000 patrons from all over Central Scotland and received five-star reviews for its portrayal of the tale as old as time.
The Great British Pantomime Awards 2023 winners will be announced at a ceremony next month at Trafalgar Theatre in London's West End on April 11.
