A MAN has been arrested in connection with an assault following the death of a man in Oakley yesterday (Wednesday).
Police have provided an update after the discovery of the 57 year-old man's body at a property in Erskine Wynd.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.10am on 22 March, 2023, the body of a 57-year old man was discovered at a property on Erskine Wynd in Oakley.
“A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault and enquiries remain ongoing."

As previously reported by the Press, emergency services were called to a property just after 6am and police confirmed on Wednesday that the death was being treated as "suspicious."
Local residents reported a heavy police presence in the area throughout the day and the street was cordoned off from early morning.
