ATHLETIC midfielder Matty Todd has committed his future to the club by putting pen to paper on a new contract.
The 21-year-old, who still had a year to run on his existing deal, has agreed fresh terms that will keep him with his boyhood club until the summer of 2026.

Todd, who will be assessed ahead of tomorrow's game with Kelty Hearts, having missed Saturday's win at Montrose after picking up an injury against FC Edinburgh the week prior, has been a star performer for the Pars this season.

He has scored 10 goals in 37 appearances, including in last month's memorable win over Falkirk, helping James McPake's side move 11 points clear at the top of League One with seven games remaining.
In January last year, he was rewarded with a contract extension after impressing under the tenure of then boss, John Hughes, going on to play 26 times as the Pars were relegated from the Championship.
They are on course to make an instant return, and Todd's contract extension follows new deals agreed by Joe Chalmers and Josh Edwards earlier this season.
The midfielder said: "My full focus has been on Dunfermline for this season and it will be until 2026 now. I will continue to work hard, keep my head grounded and focus on what I can get better at and keep on improving.
"I am absolutely delighted because it is my boyhood club, I’m playing here every week and I absolutely love it. I still had eighteen months left on my deal and have signed my new one until 2026.
"I just want to keep on improving and getting better working under James and Dave. That was the main point, they are here to stay and so am I."
A former Dunfermline High School pupil, Todd came through the former Fife Elite Football Academy, and made his first team debut for the Pars in a Challenge Cup tie at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2018.
Manager McPake noted: "He's been great.
"He’s a player I did know before I came in and he's played a lot of football for someone his age, first-team football. He's been big player for us this season, he's had a good season so far, but he needs to show it until the end of this season - and then hopefully over the course of the next three years."
We will have more on this story in next Thursday's Press Sport.
