A DECADE full of activities and fun was celebrated by a group of Dunfermline Brownies.
The 16th Dunfermline Brownies enjoyed a 'Haud Yer Wheesht' silent disco and cake to celebrate their 10th birthday.
The group was started by three local women in 2013 as there was no group in existence in the Eastern Expansion area.
One of the founders, Shona Brooksby, said they have gone from strength to strength.
"What started as a small group with just a few girls has now grown to include 30 Brownies, with a two year waiting list," she said. "As part of their birthday celebration, over 100 badges were presented by the leaders and helped by Caroline Gourley, former County Commissioner, to those Brownies who had completed badge work this term.
"Every Brownie was also delighted to receive a very special 10th Birthday badge.
"The 16th Dunfermline Brownies are not only a source of fun and friendship, but it is also a place where girls can challenge themselves and develop new skills."
Meeting every Tuesday in Dunfermline East Church, the Brownies' activities include games, crafts and badgework as well as a summer trip to the beach and a Christmas outing to the pantomime.
