PLANS to replace seven fire doors at North Queensferry Primary School have been approved by Fife Council.
Listed building consent has been granted for internal alterations at the grade B property, which dates back to 1912-14 and sits on the corner of Brock Street and Whinneyknowe.
The council began a rolling programme to identify and, where necessary, replace internal fire doors that are "life expired / no longer fit for purpose".
A report added: "They advise that the doors within the stairwells and the ground floor corridor at North Queensferry Primary are deemed as requiring to be replaced with new."
Historic Environment Scotland were consulted and had no objections.
