A DUNFERMLINE beekeeper has been making a buzz in the Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards.
Gael Wilkinson is delighted her business Kin Bees is the only Honey company shortlisted for this year's Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards. Her nomination in the Small Food Producers category is a huge coup for the Crossford resident.
It's been a whirlwind 12 months for Kin Bees. From serving her honey to King Charles on his official visit to our city, to winning a first prize at the Royal Highland Show, her Dunfermline honey certainly has no shortage of local and international fans.
Gael said: "I'm so please for my hard-working bees and for everyone that's supported me as the business has grown, especially my corporate hive sponsors. The season is just starting up now the days have got longer and warmer, and the bees are busy making this year's Spring Blossom Honey. It won't be long until it's in the jar!"
Winners for the Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards will be announced in May. In the meantime, you can follow the Dunfermline bees on Social Media @kinbeesuk.
