- * Kelty are in the capital to face play-off hopefuls FC Edinburgh and aiming to end a miserable run of eight matches without a win.
- * Hearts haven't even scored in their last four games and are yet to beat their opponents this season, losing 2-0 at home in July, 2-0 at Meadowbank in October and 2-1 at New Central Park last month.
- * Kelty are safe from relegation, they're in 8th place but 16 points clear of 9th placed Clyde and nine behind 7th placed Montrose, so they're unlikely to move.
- * But it's a pivotal game for 5th placed FC Edinburgh who surely will have to win to keep alive their hopes of getting into the play-offs, as they are four points behind Alloa with just two games left.
- * Kelty are in a strange position, with boss John Potter seeing out time until he leaves at the end of the season, along with managing director Dean McKenzie and sporting director Andy Barrowman. Club captain Michael Tidser has already been announced as the new boss and will take charge next season.
