YOUNG Royals in Cairneyhill have been named in time to rule over the village for its annual Children's Gala.
The Royal Party will be crowned during the Ye Olde Feast on Sunday, June 4, officially commencing the opening of the 2023 event.
This year's Queen will be 10-year-old Lily Bowman, while Cairn Allan, 11, will take on the role of King.
They will be accompanied by Princess Emily Fleming, 7, and Prince Noah Turnbull, also aged 7.
Four new roles have also been introduced for the 2023 celebrations, with two flower girls, five-year-old Molly Hughes and six-year old Francesca Dixon, joining the line-up, alongside page boys Tormond Bell, 5, and Nathan Nielsen, 6.
All members of the Royal Party are pupils at Cairneyhill Primary School.
Ye Olde Feast will be held at approximately 2pm and is to be followed by a Royal Party house decorating competition, with a family prize up for grabs.
The gala theme is medieval, and events held throughout the week will include a pet show, treasure hunt and football festival, ending with the main gala day on Saturday, June 10, with the parade beginning at 12pm from Glen Moriston Drive.
Several stalls are booked for the gala as well as fairground rides and attractions which will be free to access with wristbands, available online this year.
