TALENTED West Fife school pupils will see their depictions of work by Robert Burns displayed in Dunfermline's Fire Station Creative.
Seven highly recommended pieces from Dunfermline United Burns Club's annual competition will be hung in the gallery.
The contest winner, Kerr Ferguson from Bellyeoman Primary School, was complimented for his artwork inspired by To a Mouse.
Judges Colin, a former Woodmill High School art, design and photography teacher, and Dot Adams, a graphic designer, said: "We were honoured to be asked to judge the art competition this year and delighted to see such an enthusiastic, talented and varied response from eight local primary schools.
"Kerr produced a competent piece of artwork with a confident, delicate command of his chosen medium with superb attention to detail"
In second place was Keenan Imrie from Touch Primary School, who created the churchyard scene from Tam O'Shanter.
Colin and Dot commented: "All of Keenan's class followed a set artists brief to depict this particular churchyard scene but Keenan's powerful, atmospheric interpretation displayed effective media handling and definitely had an edge"
Both pupils will have their work enlarged and exhibited at Fire Station Creative, with gallery curator Ian Moir organising the framing of all highly commended work.
Ian said: "This lets children see that their work is worthy of being hung in a proper art gallery and hopefully will encourage and inspire them for the future."
The other entries who will have their art displayed are; Megan McKenna, P7 at Commercial Primary School; Emily Boyd, P6 at Lynburn Primary School; Lily Ross, P6 at Masterton Primary School; Connor Marshall, P7 at Masterton Primary School; Ava Ferguson P7 at Milesmark Primary School; Mason Manderson, P6 at St Leonards Primary School and Caila Paterson, P6 at Townhill Primary School.
